Wow, these should be very eye-catching.  It looks like a few of the MP ones are still in MOW service on the UP, e.g.:

That would be a nice scheme to offer, with all those red accents.  A few BLMA electrical cabinets would make a cool 'load' for them too.  This van will be a nice complement to the one other caboose on my roster:

Wow! Well, I know I'm in for a couple. Looks like some UP. MoPac and MILW modelers will be happy too...

Don't know exactly as some Transfer cabs were actually built from freight cars in the mid/late 50's. Steve at Bluford told me they have a boatload of schemes to run. While they want to get every scheme prototypical, there will be some close enough.

The MP/UP cabs were built as road cabs. I believe the MILW cabs were the same. MP figured they didn't need the bunks and whatnot as well.

L&N's FGE builts were a Tranfer design that L&N wanted to use as on the road cabs.

Fantastic news - looking forward to seeing more about these in coming weeks.

I have my fingers crossed that releases of the MoPac cabs will include some lettered for shortlines that picked them up secondhand, like the Willamette and Pacific and Camas Prairie.

Cab #5 is closest to an N9. The N11 had a slightly shorter platform if memory serves. I hope they leave the tool boxes off the CR version.

May not have to cross them too much.

According to some post on the other forums, first run will include UP and SP.  WSOR was mentioned as a possibility.

Texas Mexican and GBW would be nice.  (Close enough works for me!)
