After a thorough review of our forward planning and business objectives, Bowser Manufacturing Company Inc.  has decided to sell the tooling for all formerly manufactured Steam Locos, Cary, Arbour, Selley and O & Standard Gauge wheels, HO, S and O Turntables and O Gauge Trolley cars.





I. Tooling includes the following:
1.    Steam Locos, dockside, Baby Trainmaster and Aero Train
includes new locos in development:   PRR K-5, USRA,  Heavy 2-8-2, 2-10-0, 4-6-2, 4-6-4

Notice they do not mention N scale items like the tooling for the H21's, GLA's and cabin cars.  Also what about the Delaware Valley items?  It appears that this is some real old stuff dating back to the 50's especially the metal streetcar kits.

Looks like old, frequently out of date products; items that were actually produced "in house",and the equipment to make them.
Isn't their injection molding done "overseas"?(I don't see those products mentioned in any scale)
My recollection of the kader/sanda-kan mess is that Bowser was caught up in it and had to find a new source.
I'd guess they are going over to just being "contractors" (ala Atlas etc.) instead of actual manufacturers.

Thanks for the reply & info. I know "naught" of Z scale...
I do remember one of the lists of companies "given the boot" by kader included Bowser, but I have no idea how accurate that list might have been.
In any case, I don't see any injection molding equipment on their disposal list...

A thought came to mind while eMailing Lou D. If MTL wants to do a series of cars , the Fallen Model Manufactures would be a must get by me , as long as they looked as natural as Lowell Smith's Fruit Packers cars . Mantua , Penn Line , etc.

Word was a while back the N scale tooling was for sale. Don't know if that's true, but it did come from a pretty reliable source. Wish they would produce soem new N scale.
