They sold out from FVM in less than a day. I didn't read my e-mail till late that evening when they were announced and they were all gone by then.

Yes, they are A-1-A with AC motors.

Ah good, thanks for that.  Perhaps an AC body would have been a better starting point then?

It's pretty easy to get them out the door without pre-ordering if the only major change the the color, which would have changed on a new run anyway, and the truck sideframes.

But that would be true of the reruns of the other GEVOs too (e.g. the cool NS primer unit).  I suspect this was designed to create a bit of market buzz for Halloween and TrainFest.  Judging by Tony's post, it worked!  It certainly renewed my interest in FVM.

Seriously.....only a 100 of each???? That's exactly what I been waiting for, a brighter color BNSF FVM Gevo. I can't bring myself to get the Kato.

Anyone care to guess if the new color will make a second run????
