I was able to finish the Drive-in and get it all blended into the layout by the entrance door.

Mike,

Your layout looks great!  It looks like a lot of fun to build and operate.  Like Lee, you build at a pace that puts most of us to shame, yet it looks so good.  I've been to the Land of Enchantment a few times (I have family out there) and you've really captured it.

Man, Mike.  That came out great!  I really like how you blended in the scenery, especially the tall grass.  And putting that flat in front of the backdrop was a great idea.  Very inspirational. :)

As always Mr. Fifer, love your video updates.  Really like how its all coming along.  Especially like the color you chose for the fascia.  You always see the dark green usually but I really like the color you've chosen.  I would imagine it makes the room not feel as dark and small as the darker colors would do. 

Also, great job with the ballast.  I'm using Kato unitrack on my layout as well.  Are you using Kato ballast or a blend of your own?

Lastly, really like the addition of the camera screen.  Seen these on a few other layouts for staging.  Wonderful addition.  Do you think you'll ever mount a small camera to one of your locos and gives us a track view of the layout?

First of all I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy New Year. I have had little time to work on the layout and plan on doing an updated video number 23 maybe today. This is what I have been working on inside the workbench this week. Just a few miscellaneous projects I've had laying around and intend on putting on the layout. The tourist trap I've had constructed for quite some time and it was on the old layout and needed a little bit of rehab. The rest of the structures are built for specific locations. The loading ramp will go in the ghost town as well as the adobe house and garage. The green stucco building will go at the T. Leary chemical factory. The tourist trap will go along the highway on the way into the ghost town.
