Very nice Bill.  Make sure you keep that PCM E7 off the tracks (nice photo in MR too btw) until the snows' all clear.  The pilot on that would be useless.   :ashat:

Wonderful shot. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I'll second the congrats on your MR shot. They should have given your photo more space, especially considering what else was published.
Love the Hiawatha article in NSR as well.

Best wishes, Dave

Nice photo.  What are the consequences at clean up after creating such a scene?

These sn*w scenes always make be think some damage to the layout occurs.

I would bet the farm that it's a diorama.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Glad you like it. It was a lot of fun to see if I could pull this off.

I would hate to even call it a diorama. It's more of a posing board in that it's only to be viewed from one angle. The snow is dry plaster powder sprinkled on with a kitchen strainer. After the photo, I immediately removed the equipment and dusted off the plaster.

The lighting in that scene is amazing! So hard to get the winter grey feel. Excellent work!
