EMD short hood lengths

Posted this to ATLAS now I'll bring my request to the right place. ;D

I am working on an idea to produce the different EMD short hood lengths and at this point the only sizes I know are correct is the 81" and the 88" that replaced it.

Does anybody have info to share or a weblink they know of that would have this info?Plans are if this works to do Z first followed by N .They would be made by Shapeways.

Said hoods would be produced with or without headlights.

Yep, those are the two standard sizes. Other variants were the long "snoot" noses like UP had on some engines.

Canadian Pacific's SD40-2s has 102" noses.

There were two snoot variations, the 102 and a 110", I believe.

I thought the UPs were something like 116" or 120", but that's not really my area of expertise.

The 102" nose on CP's units wasn't really considered "snoots".
