Sorry about the washed out picture, I had to make some adjustments in photoshop, no extra lighting this time. the Shay has a decoder again, and the Heisler has one also. All three are pretty close to being speed matched, 1/3-1/2 throttle they seem to be all together. The Heisler is NOISY and not nearly as smooth as I would like, but I am hoping some actual grease rather than Oil will fix it a little. My shay has been a POS since day one, But my presistant tinkering finally paid off, and it now runs like any other shay I have seen.
Oh look, a short video:
Sorry about the crummy lighting, I will do a better one soon.
Heisler had a lot of work left, I gotta do the head light and rear light, Hand rails, grabs, ladders, smaller details, and Paint, but I am pretty happy with it so far. On a bad note, the pistons and connecting rods failed, so I had to remove them, and decided it was too much hassle to rebuld them, the crank is still there, and it still spins. At speed, you can't notice they are gone now that the details are added.
I Challenge any of you to make a more awesome N scale power lash-up. ;D ;D ;D
