I don't know but hope they get backup.  It's become my favority site.  Was watching the Folkston side last evening when the northbound Autotrain came thru.  Forty cars makes for a large train.

According to the Great Lakes Live forum, the Bar was experiencing financial problems and cut their internet connection as a cost saving measure. I do hope it comes back.

Fostoria will truly be missed.
Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be "recalled" by their maker.

According to the RailStream web site the Fostoria cam will be up again on December 1, 2011. The cam will be located at the former Davis & Newcomer building now owned by Fostoria Rail Preservation Socity. This building is on Columbus St. opposite the new Fostoria rail park which is under construction.

That's good news.  Whatever happened to the railcam he ran on the NS line?

The cam on the NS main at Cresson, PA is still up and running if that's the one you're referring to.

Thanks for that info.  I usually do (one stop cam shopping) here:  http://www.railserve.com/RailCams/.

Wonder why they took it off that site.

It will now cost $10 / month or $ 100 / year to get the 2 cameras in Fostoria , the only free one is the one at Cresson .

I will not pay that much to get a live cam as good as it is ...  Too bad .
Thanks ,
Louis

If you haven't checked the Cresson railcam in awhile, this morning rain has turned to snow and it is covering the ground.  Makes it really feel like Christmas.
