Testing...

Your URL will not work. It doesn't end with .jpg, .png or .gif  You need to find a way to get a URL which will end in either of those.

Here is what you tried https://picasaweb.google.com/100763299426738792991/Downloads#6019357358649068066

Anyone have experience using the Picasa Mobile App? I can get a URL for an image but can't figure out how to assign a file type (jpeg, etc) and support seems non existent beyond a few generic FAQ's

ok seriously confused
I guess I didn't wait enough time for the image to post.  But according to photo buckets I should be using the IMG tag?  although I think that this picture came thru when I used the Email & IM tag.  or does it matter.  would like to know before I start posting my engineering report.  also is it normal to see the entire link twice in the text box.?
trying not to look like a newbie
thanks

That didn't  work. You might want to read the lengthy thread about trouble with Google photos:

Thanks Peteski. After muddling around with Google Photo long enough, I gave up and tried to create an account in Photobucket. For some reason the first attempt didn't work but it finally all came together this morning. Now to post my MMMT pictures.

Yup - I see your pictures now. I also use Photobcket but I recommend uploading them to the gallery right here at the Railwire. That way, for as long as Railwire is online  the photos will always be visible in your posts, unlike when the externally-hosted photos which disappear on some of the older threads (for various reasons).
