WOT 70' Baggage 2nd run announced - N&W, CP and others

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet.  The second release of the Wheels of Time 70' heavyweight baggage are scheduled to arrive late spring.  Roadnames in this release are:

• B&O merged scheme
• Canadian Pacific
• Frisco
• Norfolk & Western
• Northern Pacific
• Missouri Pacific (blue)
• Southern Pacific (ex EP&SW)
• Wabash (City of St.Louis, UP colors)

It appears there are a couple of "must haves" for some of the RailWire folks.

We got an email a few weeks ago from them with new announcements, but it was only the next run of Bi-Level commuter cars.

I'm interested because, as it ALWAYS GOES...........

1. I just bashed a CPR 70'.........

2. I just bashed an NP 70'..................

Now; I know they won't get them prototypically correct because I believe that both railways 70's had windows ( my references indicated that) and they won't get the CPR doors right......or I will have to just go running off screaming into the night because they are a pain in the A@@ to model..........

I saw the ad today in the Mar/Apr NSR, plus info in N-Horizons column in the back.  Also heard it mentioned a couple of days ago.  Matt probably will have the site updated with more info and pics in a week or so.

Crap.  : I already bought an undec. I hate it when this happens. Not sure if I'll buy it, will have to wait and see which scheme it will be (logical version would be the 1950s style paint job with black ends).

Can't tell from the artwork drawing in the ad.  It's a clerestory car with the modern square windows in the doors, tuscan red sides, black roof, deluxe gold lettering. NORFOLK (door) AND (door) WESTERN across the top, RAILWAY EXPRESS / AGENCY / 1318 on the middle lower side.  Tuscan red battery box., black underbody and trucks.

Canadian Pacific and Northern Pacific are the other two schemes featured in the ad.

Same as the N&W, modern square windows.  CP maroon body, black arched roof, deluxe gold print.  Black battery box.  The CP drawing is about 75% the size of the N&W drawing.  The print is nearly impossible to see, but I think the road number is 4207.

The NP is the two-tone, with five and three rectangular windows on the large and small doors respectively.  Dark NP green clerestory roof, herald centered on the light NP green lower panels, white print.  NORTHERN between the doors and PACIFIC to the right of the second door.  Thin white stripe separating the two greens, road number appears to be 1500.  Black battery box.

Thanks.... The CPR is a foobie for sure; wrong doors and windows...oh well, what the heck. The NP, if RN 1500 is from a short series of cars 1500-1504 that were built about 1920 (picture is the one I used to model my foobie 1505)

I am in for an NP one for sure.  I wish they would do Burlington even if it is a foobie!  I do have some undecs and decals however.

Aha, so they have it on the site now. They are doing the N&W scheme I would do (the car is a decent stand-in). Decision time: Buy the already painted car and deal with the hassle of selling off my undec?
