Almost dodged a bullet.  The Cal Train is on the list but since the focus keeps shifting East (not THAT far East yet, Stockton vice Fremont) might not have to get one.  Still might

If they did an Altamont Commuter Express though...

Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

C50-9
will snag me one more time.  Next time its likely to be one more time all over again, unless the PC&F boxcars suddenly appear and hold Mr. Wallet hostage for twenty or more before other spending begins to recover again...

Well someone did tell me they had a biggie coming for N scale. Maybe it is a PC&F. But then again, things I heard at WGH in Atlanta didn't give me much hope for alot more in the future.

I might throw a few bucks in for the RBOX and Guilford cars. I have way too much on order already with the Kato F40s, and Viewliner set and BLMA's spine and TOFC cars.

I'll take the Chessie and El caboose along with the early Railbox.

Honestly, unless it's the door and a half car, I think the Atlas Trainman RBOX cars are a better deal.

Unless you want the variety of the FMC box vs the ACF.

Ed,Actually one needs both types since these cars are seen everywhere.

In fact while out and about this morning I seen a WB NS merchandiser with several Railbox single door and 4 or 5 door and a half..This WB had 30 or 35 boxcars, several tanks, 20 or more covered hoppers and several steel coil cars and 6 mill gons hauling steel coils. There was 2 SD70s on the point.

Exactrail does the combo door car in HO... I sent then a email asking if they're thinking of doing it in N. Maybe we need to let them know there is a demand for them (RBOX, CN and MD&W)?

Did RBOX actually have the FMC cars? I don't know.

Yeah, I checked on Railcarphotos and they have the FMC car that appears to be correct, though the models is in the 377** series and the only shots I could see that matched were in the 38*** and up.

Those Athearn cars appear to be RailBox class XFF20: series RBOX 37750-38749, built in early 1980.  I hope they add the class to the bottom right stirrup area since that is the only thing they appear to be missing.  I will be in for these.  You cannot have enough RailBox cars.  Thanks.
