I posted my very first video on You Tube - something of a test of my camera, but it does "kinda" show the head end and coach section of my Dominion scooting about...


I will need more experimentation with this..... ;D

Oh ya, he's my "dealer"....... I have made a few suggestions to him for his next cars including a first class 73' wood side coach...yummy !

Did you grow up in BC Pudd?  My grandparents lived in Trail and retired to Victoria, so I feel liked I'm coming home in many ways.  But I still have to pinch myself - and my wallet is shrieking.   :o

May I ask you to suggest a 3704 mail and something else car?  (Not sure of the exact designation for the car).  I need one for my Prince George Auxiliary and I am not looking forward to cutting up and rearranging his existing 37XX Express RPO.

Glad to hear you made the trip safe and sound Gary.

I made some progress on a couple of N Scale Kits 48' NSC 3-unit well car sets. Continued rain this week means it will be a little while before I can get them painted.... but at least I'm not flooded out like so many others here in Queensland are.  :-[

So Gary did you bring any Floquil burried in the car like drugs ? I don't think they have Floquil sniffing Moose trained yet .

No; lived in the lower mainland from 93 - 97...back in the wonderful n scale days of Pacific Scale Rail in New West; one of the first stores I eve saw that featured n scale....

Around making long-overdue wall repairs and doing some painting in my townhouse and with the football games on in the background, I spent a few hours today working on the A&R.  Here's a satellite view:


I have reinstalled the cork roadbed in the areas where I am going to handlay code 40 track.  As you may have noticed, I made revisions to the original plan: (1) to fit the #8 handlaid curved turnouts (20" outer radius and 15" inner radius), and (2) to make a few aesthetic changes (e.g., sidings and realignments) since I now had the opportunity after tearing out the code 55 track last week.

Kudos goes out to Fast Tracks for making their templates available online, which allowed me to install the roadbed (with confidence that everything will fit) before I have even received my order of materials from Fast Tracks.  Whenever the package arrives, I will be ready to go.
