I said I would have something for this week, so here it is.  Remember a few months ago I posted that I had big plans for this:



This is a "crawlspace" under part of my house.  It's 36 feet long and over 15 feet wide at its widest.  Well, as of this past week, it looks like this:





I call this "The Blank Slate".  It should be finished and ready for a railroad by January.

That's got to be one of the strangest crawlspaces I've ever seen. First step through that door was a doozie! The water heater installation sure looks dicey--hopefully that was addressed along with finishing the space.

No choo choos for me this week.  But we still made a great leap forward...


It only took 22 years, four kids and about 6 different houses, but Laura finally achieved her BA in History via Salisbury University.


We couldn't be happier!

Of course the primary implication for me is that now she can finally begin her professional career, which of course will free up the train budget a little bit!
