The Kato booth at the WGHOT show in Edison, New Jersey had the silver and Tuscan car. I am no PC or AMTRAP fan, but I do remember riding in similar cars in that era, so they caught my eye at the booth. They looked pretty good.
One of the things that I always liked about these particular shows was the presence of the Manufacturers' Representatives and that they were usually pretty talkative. At this show, the Manufacturers' Representatives did not seem too talkative and were uninformed. The show seemed to have taken on a circus atmosphere, as well, that I do not recall being present at previous shows like this. You usually found many different vendors at these particular shows, but there were mostly the same GREEDberg vendors at this one. There were a few that I had not seen, but more GREEDberg vendors than I remember from previous shows.
But anyhow, those Kato PC cars looked pretty good and you PC and 1970s modellers should be happy with them.
