Springfield Show/meet up

The Big Train Show in Springfield, MA is only a month and a half away. Who is going, who wants to meet up at or after the show?

I'll  be there both days, probably hanging around Ntrak.

I'm taking the Saturday off from work to go. I'll likely be hanging around the Hub Division throwing things at Ian.

Sat & Sun only until around 2PM. It always feels like they shut off the heat then figuring that with all the warm bodies, who needs heat.

Two years ago it was around -3 with -20 wind chill. Southern boys don't like that kind of weather.

Most of the time a thin sweater is all you need. It stays about 80 in there all day long. Its just the brief sprints from building to building that are chilly.

I just got the conformation that I will be taking over the area that was going to be used by Kadee in the Better Living Center right next to ExactRail (Loc #39). This will give me enough room to display everything.

Funny, this is the same location that I original had in 2007 & 2008.

I'll be there all day Saturday to meet with various people and have face-to-face meetings with various historical societies, fellow manufacturers and reference photo tables, but I won't have a table.  I should have the latest XIH paint samples with me.

Weather is a crap shoot that time of the year, but more concerning is the price of gasoline. At $3/gal, that's about $60 for the trip from my place and using my low 20's mpg vehicle, plus the Tapp toll and the $10 get in. Do you pay for parking there?

LOL yeah it was $10 to get in, $5 to park and I spent $12 on a Atlas TM flatcar. I thought that was funny. I plan on spending more this year!!
