Bob,

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see anything new since the last update on October 28, 2010.  Please prove me wrong, because I really enjoy looking for an inexpensive way to "reinvent" my locomotive fleet.

Dave

Got this from Atlas today.  They added some GP-40 bodies.

The GP40's have been there since the late October update.  I know this because I ordered two MKT GP40's and received them the next day.

They are great, especially if you want to run a slightly different time frame.   Just pop the MKT shells onto other GP38/40 mech's (with newer schemes, but still on black trucks/fueltank) I have and voila!  1985.

I also got some SD60/M's that I use on a single 60 chassis as pool power.  I can run KCS, DRGW, BN, SOO, CR, NS, BN-patch....all with one mech and decoder.

The 38s (technically, undec GP38-2 w/ DB, never-run in box) are DCC-ready. Make me an offer. I have 6 and will deal if you take them all off my hands. Gotta go to Illinois Thursday and daddy needs gas and toll money.

I can't move that fast but I need to take a look at home what I'd like to do. What decoder do those mechs take?

Correct me if I'm wrong, and certainly not trying to kill a deal here, but aren't the GP38-2 and GP38/40 mech's different?

Yes, they are. As stated above, these are GP38-2s. I have straight up 38s as well but can't get to them right now.
