Ok, so some background is in order here. Matt from FVM surprised us modutrak guys by bringing along a preproduction sample of the n-scale Hiawatha set to the Prototype Modelers Meet where we had our layout setup. Since this was a preproduction version of the set, there are improvements and minor changes that will be coming in the production version. So Matt was hesitant to have us taking detailed photos and video but relented after a bit of torture (we threatened to paint it UP yellow scheme). We didn't plan to do video at the show anyway, so an iPhone had to pinch hit, thus the mediocre video quality.

Detail was *very* good on everything and the unit ran smoothly around the layout with no hiccups. The unit he brought didn't have traction tires installed yet, but it still pulled the set around no problem. It got lots of attention at the show and looked good running around the layout. Matt can chime in on the latest in-store arrival dates as I can't keep track of what he had planned.
