This must have been the ground breaking big announcement that included UP steam, Amtrak Horizons and eastern commuter cars galore.

Oh well, at least we can expect to see it offered in PC a year from now  ;D

I don't get it, haven't they already made a bunch of UP passenger car sets? They're going back to that well with something that isn't ground breaking like the modern business train. Lame.

They have not done a true City of LA, or San Fran for that matter. This will sell and sell well, I suspect.

As for the other ground breaking announcements, those are not expected until iHobby or Trainfest.

So is this the "Name" Train or the same league as the GN "Empire Builder" they came out with awhile back? Yeah I'll probably get a set to put behind the UP Challenger but nothing is shaking this up a bit. They really stepped up the game when it came to the Daylight, the Broadway and maybe the Capitan...but this seems like a "normal" run.

Not sure this is the Doozie, and wouldn't be surprised if more UP stuff is to come...

I guess this isn't BAD news.

In all seriousness though my idea was way better - the FEF, Heritage, modern E8's, etc....

Maybe if it was the original  with EMC E-2's, it might approach Doozy status.

I think Kato is just toying with us.  Big build up, then a let down, then..........................POW!
