"The CPR Canadian" in N scale - news

Today; Jason; owner of Rapido trains posted this to a thread on the "Canadian", as part of a cute little comment I made about VIA having ruined it by using old CN equipment in the 80's...

I can confirm that Rapido does plan to bring out a Canadian in N scale after we do it in HO. But that is a couple of years away yet. Most of our resources right now are going into the HO version.

Best regards,

Jason

Well; there you have it folks.... it's a ways off yet but it seems we're getting the "Turbo" and the "Canadian" in nscale...best start saving up the milk money................ ;D
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Good (if they do a VIA CDN, too), and double good that it's not right now. $$$.

I think that Rapido announcing their intention will kill any plans Kato may have had. Many, myself included, will ignore all else and wait for Rapido to do theirs.

Now, all that is left is for musing on them doing the LRC in N. Canadian, Turbo, LRC... jackpot!

Does this mean we'll get that insanely nice FP9 too?
