Is that track plan on your website? I could adapt that to the space I'll have once my house is finished inside and out. No trains inside until outside is done says the wife.

No, I did the artwork just for publication. And it's not my plan--it represents his layout as built.

Did you tell your wife that if she doesn't like the trains inside, she can live outside?   I like to remind my wife that she could have it much worse- being married to a train nerd means that I'm home every night and not out with the boys drinking, gambling, and womanizing.  :D

This was my first time over at @seusscaboose's house!

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

And remember the Golden Spike tour?

I visited a few other layouts, too, apparently...

Rick Ernst's Columbia Gorge out in Portland, Oregon

Rob Carey's Tennessee Pass, also in Portland

And of course, local favorites:

@seusscaboose NKP layout... Also now undergoing a major tranformation

and @John 's CSX

And a bonus of having family in North Carolina, I got to see Kevin Beck's great Winston Salem Southbound layout, which I wrote up in N Scale magazine.

Good times.
Lee
Lee, you should see what Kevin has done to the layout now! A lot of changes since you were there last. Let me know if you want to revisit and I'll give him a call!

I'd love to see it.  When I was there he was planning some big changes, including adding a section to connect both layouts.  That was shortly before the squirrels moved in...

After he described that episode to me, I was a little hesitant to ask him how things were going!
