Jim's castings are excellent, but I would suggest contacting him and getting one of his PDF catalogs if you are interested in purchasing any of the models based on a Johnny Lightning token. 

I say this because only one of the models based on the Johnny Lightning tokens is exactly 1:160 scale (the '82 Camaro), and Jim has included the actual scale for the Johnny Lightning token based models in his catalog.  And I will add, that none of the token based models are larger than 1:154 scale or smaller than 1:174 scale.

P.S. I am not sure if Jim made his own measurements and calculations to determine the scale, but they are in agreement with the measurements and calculations I made for the Johnny Lightning tokens several years ago.

By the way, he also produces a Chrysler PT Cruiser that looks like the Johnny Lightining token, but is scaled to a true 1/160.  I'm not sure how he does it.

One of the customers at Des Plaines Hobbies uses Hydroshrink to turn 1/43 and 1/64 diecast models into patterns for HO 1/87 vehicles.  If that token was slightly oversize, that is an option.  Apparently Hydroshrink can be mixed in different ratios to optain different levels of reduction.

If you ask I do believe he has a catalog of his vehicles.Yeah I have a bunch including the new grain trailers which I have not seen in his eBay store except for once.



I highly reccomend his vehicles if for nothing more than the quaiity of his product.

Jim told me via email that he is redoing the JL tokens as true 1:160 models.He is also working on a line of International trucks.If I remember correctly these will have hollow cabs.
