Walthers 50' pulpwood flats are out

BLW is listing them as in stock, and there is a picture of the Southern car at the top of the page.  They are riding high.  Can't tell if there is enough room to lower the car to a reasonable height and still have the trucks be able to pivot.

These carry phone poles when equipped with stakes/forks right? I have a few on order just to support the cause but I don't really have a use for them on the Boston line unless they can carry phone poles.
You've crossed the walls, excelled
Further along through their hell
All for my heart, I watch you kill
You always have, you always will
Now spread your wings and sail out to me

I could be wrong, but I think the NS ones had the ends cut down when they had stakes installed for pole service.

A LOT of the NS cars also ended up with sides and became tie gons.

SOP for Walthers. One number available singly, and additional numbers in a 2-pack or 3-pack if they do one.

Different car.

Some similar cars were modified with permanent stakes for poles or car-length logs. May not be exactly the same car builder, but pretty close in appearance to the Walthers car:

Right. But for the ones that were used on the Boston Line, and the cars that are currently used by one of our customers they are the wrong car, and noticeably so.

I have no idea of anything related to the "Boston Line."

Car he is looking for is a 60' bulkhead flat with log bunks.
