Damn, the USAF doesn't keep you long in one place. The Navy at least tried to give you a 2 year tour before moving you someplace else. Don't seem like you were there long.
A little more than 2 years... Under normal circumstances they try to make tours 4 years CONUS to CONUS, but exceptions are made for things like command. I'm going to be a squadron DO (Director of Operations), which is like the XO in the Navy. DO and command are typically 2-year tours also.
Trust me, I'm glad to be moving from Nebraska to Florida!
