There's no car names on any of these.  My 10-1-2 is a Great Northern because I missed out ordered the Pullman one in time.  It's gonna get repainted anyhow.  Now to find the right decals to give them car names.

Huh?  The Pullman's don't have names, but the GN Empire Builder cars both have names so far.

I'll check the files and see what it was.  I know the Tager drawings had them off center as well...his stuff is usually spot on.

"Spot on" is not how I'd usually describe any railroad magazine published drawing, George Trager or otherwise...  For all the money sunk in tooling, it really is worth it to get copies of the drawings out of the Pullman archives at IRM.

There also are enough photographs in the public domain of most of the railroad schemes on most of the Pullman plans to work from.  And there are various lettering diagram books published by various historical societies that have the required artwork specifications.

I'll be satisfied if the PRR 12-1 approaches the appearance of the Branchline HO model: http://factorydirecttrains.com/images/products/detail/15322a.jpg

I was always envious of those Branchline heavyweights in HO.  Bout time we something equivalent.

His stuff generally is.  It wasn't the only reference used, so it is what it is.
