B-mann 44 Tonner Question

I just picked up a pair of these little gems and was wondering, seeing that they are DCC on board, can I run them on analogue track? Sorry, total DCC noob here

They are supposed to run fine on DC, but they run smoother if you remove the circuit board. I've heard many others say the same thing.

Thanks Chris. That requires the removal of the shell. Yikes! I think you have a thread on that somewhere... found it looking for an answer to this DCC Q.

I modeled 1948 when lights were only used at night. 

The headlight casting was a little chunky so I replaced it with a brass tube, then used a MV lens in it. It you wanted working lights there is tons of room to add whatever you want.
