They really are noticeable.  They were one of two signature additions required for all the early Geeps on my favorite railroad.  I thought I could skip them, but eventually their absence drove me nuts.

The other factor is I'm holding out to find a blow out of them, or some other means of getting them cheap...  I'm such the bottom feeder... ;D
