Yes Joe, it would qualify for the New N Scale Model of the Year Award.  Shortly after I posted the list last night, I received an email nomination for it.

The nominations are closed, and the candidates for the Sixth Annual N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards have been selected.  I wish to express my gratitude to all those who took part in the nominating/preliminary voting.  The 12 nominations that will be voted on at National N Scale Convention in Houston (Sugar Land) Texas in June are listed below.
