That house remains my dream residence. Set up an all-weather viewing platform at the back fence with a coffee machine / bar fridge and maybe a few bed and breakfast cottages... sit back and watch the Benjamins (and trains) roll in  ;D

Now to convince the wife   ;)

Nice shots, makes a change to see it nice and green. Would definitely be up for a trip there in Spring 2011.

Lucky you, I get a cost twice that from Vancouver..of cource it all depends if I'm still here by next year otherwise it's a flight from the UK.

Drive to Seattle and catch Southwest: $118 each way to LAX or Burbank (the latter is a wee bit closer to Tehachapi).

With any luck, I'll be living in Vancouver by then.  If you're still there, we can carpool to Seattle.  :)

So is it too soon to pencil in a date(s) for a trip?   The early April (say 5th-8th)  would be nice for getting a lot of 'green' pictures   ;)

I'm not asking for any commitment, just interest.
