Did PC really put the ACI labels on the side of the hood? 

Yes, they were standard on nearly every PC hood unit I've seen pics of...  Most survived in some weathered form to the CR paint-out era.


ACI labels were standard in the era... that's not what I was remarking... I was noting that they slapped it on the side of the hood itself, not on a bracket on the side of the sill like I've been used to.  That's one of those neat details that stand out to me, nice job!

Yeah, sheet metal costs money ya know! PC would never go for that...

I'm more acustomed to them being on a braket attached to a handrail stanchion.

Guess PC would never go for that one either.
