I've started work on the lower riverbanks for my bridge module. Styrofoam (to be covered in glueshell) for the northwest bank, styrene (to simulate concrete) for the northeast:

Dunno if any of it will be permanently in place and/or scenicked by next weekend's show, though.

thanks Lee...

no Dave, it isn't a decal...

straight ol' skool printer on ol' skool paper and applied with ol' skool elmers all chased with some ol' skool weathering...

i figured it would be a conversation starter occasionally.

Lets see:

Work, work, work, and more work. Come home then, work, work, and more work; then homework, homework, and more homework. Having a full-time job, restoring the daily driver, and going to college full time is crazy, even during spring break...

I'm beat, at least I get to sleep in for the next few days (sleeping in for me is waking up after 7:00 am)

Okay, so I did manage a wee bit of modeling. Putting a few car kits together and getting a few of the "deadlined" locos back into good running condition. No weathering or airbrushing this week, maybe next week if I can get some money/time to pick up some pastels and transparent paints...
Vincent

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

You own an tug for plane moves ? I must have at least 400 miles on them between '65 and '67 .

Ok; so actually did "something" this weekend whilst suffereing with a spring cold; I changed the CPR "Cape Breton" - Solarium-Sleeper-Observation car to body mounted couplers and metal wheel sets. Here she is in the second to last position, just ahead of the Mountain Observation car that will cut off in Calgary on the weekend "Dominion"...

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Nah,I bought it just as a toy.Actually my plan is a overweight Golf cart for use at car shows and the pits at the race track.Only paid 250 bucks for it and it runs.1963 North western.

First run after the carb rebuild last December I think it was.Plugs are shot,Wires are like brake lines they are so aged and hardened,Cap is nasty, coil is brand new!oh,fuel tank was a 20Oz coke bottle.

Couple weeks ago after changing plugs and adjusting carb a little.

Well, I've been doing a lot of weathering, despite not having any pictures to back up my claims  :-\ .  In fact, since December, I have weathered:

In Z:
4 AZL UTLX tankers
4 AZL CELX tankers
1 AZL Soo Hopper
2 AZL CNW PS-2 hoppers
2 AZL UP PS-2 hoppers
1 AZL SP Geep (with BLMA grabs and custom paint)
1 MT SP Geep
1 MT SP station

HO:
1 Athearn SP SW1500
2 Athearn SP MP15ac
Misc vehicles

...and probably more that I can't remember right now!
