Flexi Flo Hopper question

While over on the ESM site (looking at the G26 gon) I saw they had models of the NYC/PC/CR Flexi Flo hopper. And I recently was looking at the CR site at pics of these hoppers. See link for an example photo of a car:
http://thecrhs.org/Images/CR-897702-Class-996H

But this leads me to a question. Since the cars are marked "cement loading only" and since I know these are pressure differential cars that means the cement isn't loaded as a slurry (liquid) but dry. So why are there so many stains on the car that look like they're made from a liquid. The example I linked to is a good example of this sort of staining.

Powder gets spilled during loading, rain water then falls on it turning it to a dirty liquid which runs down and stains the sides maybe?

I once had a dog named 'Crossbuck' who liked to 'mark' everything in sight.  Maybe that car was 'marked' by 'George' the Great Dane who Guiness people declared was the worlds tallest dog?

Sadly no.  You would have to either bash one of the grain car roofwalks, or draw and etch your own based on the plastic part.

Bingo..I drove a bulk cement truck for a while and it had the same stains.. It spills around the hatch and rain water causes it to wash down the sides and then harden...

Never thought of rain on the dry cement as a cause but that sure makes sense.

Thanks all.

Thanks Bryan.  I may have an opportunity to go by MBK this weekend and I plan to see what can work.  I got one of the AHM models off ebay today for $6 plus shipping.  Looking forward to the possibilities.
