Nice! I may eventually cave in on one of these if the price is right ... I wanna make a SD50s someday.

Thanks guys it's taken a lot of time to get it where it is now, I still have the fuel tank area to build as per Ron's suggestions. The handrails have the paint caked on, I'm using lacquer thinner on it to get it off. Isopropyl is not shifting it quickly enough!! I sit there with a Q-tip and gently rub the lacquer in. The lacquer does soften the plastic so it's a last resort. The plastic hardens up again when the lacquer has evaporated.

I also had to mill back the mechanism at the front as I couldn't get the nose back on because I couldn't trim the hand grabs back far enough - lotsa fun with this one  ;D

Lots of effort's gone into this one and it shows, but since it's almost done, what's the next project ? ;)

Well ummm if you only knew how many I am working on in parallel  :D
Mostly likely it will be my last GP15-1 BNSF 1498 then SD38-2 BNSF 1801 but not the same paint as Charles Hopkins one on sale at Chucks place then SD38-2 BN 6263. I have 2 interesting Geeps to complete but I can't show those. ;D

I'm also working on my new GP40X master. So I reckon by the time that's ready someone will come out with a GP40X longhood or complete locomotive and render my puny effort null and void ;)
