Whats the prototype for this, and when was it built?

ACF, 1975-1980

I seem to recall some chatter between Russ & Bob that these were sized for MLE hitches (good call).  Don't know about container shoes.

Yes, it has been sized for Russ's hitches.

Yes, container shoes are included. They will slip into the slots and are turned 90 degrees to lock in place.

what kind of tracking weight ..?  I imagine the center beam has room for some weight .

1.2oz built even when made from .018 brass. The center beam is small, but I was able to put in some lead putty to bring the weight into place.

1973 (Southern being the earliest here) to 1979... if you do different jacking pads you can really get year specific.

Itel is not a scheme, they were the lessor for the small lots of PW, TM, COER and ERES cars.

SOU, FEC and SP were the largest owners

Atlas does this car in O and HO...

Any change we can modify the jacking pads to resemble the PS or Bethlehem cars?

Some more variety in hitches would be nice too....

Don't think TNR will Jon. Brad only orders from me for what he has orders for. He wont order for shows.

The rub rails are not in their final position. My only error on the artwork ... I misplaced the holes. I secured these on the proto build to where I thought they would be. I'll get it right on the next artwork and on the Bethleham Flat Decks coming out next month.

Tivo, the rails are .030 wider apart than prototype to accommodate MLE hitches. Maybe that is also causing some of the "amiss".
