Gary, supposedly on the MFCL today, ER apologized for the fact that the car they announced was completely wrong - I think there is a 6' inside height car and a 5' 6" car - and the r/n they announced were all for the wrong one. So they apparently said they were actually announcing the OTHER car now and the one they did announce later.
Very confusing. Getting even one of these in N would be great.
Also, on the Atlas HO forum, CurtMc (who is usually pretty knowledgeable) says that the LBF 65' gon is a model of some Thrall car. This is sort of strange, since since I had heard that it was a spliced and lengthened version of the 52' car they did and had no real prototype. It is also mirrored - the grabirons on the left side are mirrors of the right side, which of course is wrong. Then again, there could be a difference between the HO and N models.
Anyone know any more about this???
