source for pink foam sheets

i'm suddenly in the market for pink foam...  in teh past i have been unable to locate a source that has 4x8 sheets of the stuff.  the local Home Depot and Lowes only carries the 1" 2x8 sheets with the tongue and groove edge.  i need maybe two 4x8 sheets of the 2" and two of the 2x8 one inch sheets.

Try and call some other HD or Lowes. I've had trouble in one store and found it in another store.

Try the 84 at Harmans.  I get my 2" x 2' x 8' here at my local.  Hint... see if there's a damaged sheet you can buy for a dollar regardless of where you buy.  84 counter monkeys can do a damage code when they're ringing you out, and they'll be glad to get the busted piece out the yard.  Don't pay more than half price...

84 - no.
the nearby HD's and Lowe's - no.

Now that I think of it, the 2x8 sheets are available here due to the preponderance of crawl space foundations...  Check the 84 at Queenstown... it's right by the 404/50 intersection.

Hang around a construction site and get the five finger discount.

I find HD to hit and miss with alot of stuff I need at work... really annoying. An associate can typically check stock of other area HD's in real time if you ask, they've done this for me before. Maybe they could direct you to an HD that has stock. Remember, it will be the furthest one.

Lowes only just started opening stores in Canada, so I'm not sure about them.

Wow, that's strange. Even here "in the state of missery" every lumberyard/HD/Lowes has 1 and 2 inch pink or blue foam :o

Maybe there's a "ban" on foam and eastern road Kato's for you guys ;D

Are you searching for 4' X 8' x 2"? I'm not sure if you can get it in 4 foot wide pieces, but I know you can get 24".
