True, it doesn't say they are not doing it. It just seemed really odd that the announcement was for an HO version with no previous mention anywhere for the HO version.

The "insider's appreciation" pre-sale tomorrow is for the HO gon, but the ad in NSR advertises the N gon.  The pics in the email are of the HO model, while the pic in the ad is of the N scale model, and you can see differences (due to scale) in the two.

The announcement on the gon is up now on their "blog"...

HO and N scale...   SP cars are in the early, pre-renumber/rebuild scheme with placards.

The rest of the schemes sound like fantasy from the ad copy...

You can't really get too hung up on the paint schemes until you see the particular road numbers they produce.  The cars they do might be assigned to a part of the NW system you don't model or even cars that never spent anytime on the NW system at all.

We wouldn't want any foobies on the layout.

Hehe, nice try.

They did ride the pokey.

Road numbers have virtually nothing to do with the paint scheme.

They can only be ex-Wabash or ex-NKP cars as N&W didn't buy any of these IIRC.

These are 42' high side gons - capacity is same as a 52' of that era - pretty sure CR did not have these cars, but someone prove me wrong.

Our car has nothing to do with the Exact Rail version, and I think that will be apparent when both are released and compared.  Furthermore, our collaboration with Tangent was nothing more than sharing the paint scheme information and builder blue-prints; all engineering and tooling was executed by the BLMA team.

Don't go assuming tooooo much.....
