One question I do have is whether you have a schematic for the wheel tread you can make available. Just curious what standard these wheels are turned to and how much needs nicking off the back to pass through the  FS160 flangeway (.050mm)after widening the b2b. Are they FV wheelsÉ

One cynicism- why can MT not produce a proper 100 ton truck?  they have been in business what? 35 yrs? BLMA what about 5 or so???  MT will probably have one for Z scale before N scale.....

This is a huge development for BLMA, and I commend you for taking the step.  I need to see them to get 100% behind them, but from what you've done in the past, I suspect you did them right.

Echoing someone else in this thread; please make available wheel dimensions.  A range is ok if that's what your tolerances are as they are produced.  I want to know the flange depth; you may have seen me take micro-trains to task for poor choices in the past.  Tread width may also be of interest to folks using them on fine scale trac work, and so on.

I intended to take my micrometers to them, and I suspect others will as well.  No reason to keep the data secret, and by publishing them you'll win points with the folks who care.

One last question; what sort of multi-packs, and do they come with pins for the usual atlas/mt bolsters similar to how Micro-Trains packages?

Thanks for the kind words guys!  These cars were designed with the highest standards in mind, but will work for ANY operation.  In fact, today we tested the cars on an N-Track layout and fixed Unitrack layout - in both instances the cars worked literally derailment free - both forwards and reverse.

Leo:  Simply put, these wheels will roll through ANYTHING and will track incredibly well - again, they're thoroughly tested and we will continue with testing prior to production.  That said, the wheels are exactly 36" diameter (.225"); the wheels are just about .060" wide.  Why you'd need any other dimensions is beyond me...

Craig, You`re probably right about the dimensions. For what I`m after, it is best to just get a pair and go over them then. I pre-ordered a couple pairs today through my LHS to play with when they get off the boat. Thanks for all of the work you are doing to further develop N scale.

And, if I'm not mistake, I believe the photograph reveals the reason for the superior tracking: a healthy fillet.
