I worked some more on the SOO 774.

I didn't have a proper winterization hatch, so I made one, modeled after a GEEP hatch I had lying around

Got the MTL 1036's mounted to all ny Bluford 86'ers. I've put on a couple hours of mainline time, and I think that they run smoother, with no glitches at all.

I love these cars even more now, and need to preorder some more of the latest release. So, not a ton done for the weekend, but made an improvement in operating, and now I'm going to sit back and enjoy them a bit.

Man, I could have sent you a few extra Atlas SD50 hatches which would fit perfect over the SD40 fan

Are those G22bs gonna have the early (1 stiffening rib) or late style (3 ribs) end? And are you gonna do HB1a and DB4a containers for the gon too?

A mere 75 cents each for the SD60 hatches and a whole 50 cents for the SD24 hatches

From way out here in Seattle she looks GREAT!  My rail activities this weekend consisted of riding the new Sound Transit Light Rail into Seattle to see the UW - LSU football.  My Tigers won, in case anyone cares.  And I saw some BNSF today driving around - hoping to get pictures tomorrow and Thursday.

First i finished up this coach model, complete with interior:




...and i got the hungries.





Then i built a batch of these driver boards, which are designed to power tortoise motors, using momentary-contact pushbutton switches on the operator panels:


I also spent about 14 hours over at CV on monday, installing tortoises, pushbuttons, driver boards, and running wire/dropping feeders. All ready to go for the O-scale swap meet this weekend!~

do you have a schematic for the Tortoise driver?  i'm looking to setup route selection for my staging yard.

actually, it looks like you used two 555's instead of a 556 (which is two 555's) in this circuit
