The two cars from the original post are either ex PRR X61's or X61C's. As Sean mentioned, these are not an exact match for the Atlas 60' Single Door Car. The PRR built the X61's in Hollidaysburg to their own design. The side sills are different (X61 extends to the end of the car), the X61's are riveted (ACF cars are welded), and the ACF cars have the trademark "Precision Design" panels (X61's lack this). If you want to use the Atlas car to model a Conrail car, look for photos of Conrail class BE60C boxcars. These are ex Erie Lackawanna cars that are just about a perfect match for the Atlas car. In fact, Atlas painted at least three EL numbers in the first couple runs. Another very close match for the Atlas car is a Conrail class BE60A. The major differences between it and the Atlas car are the BE60A has full length ladders and running boards (Conrail removed them) and it lacks the "Precision Design" panels. I can live with this! I would also offer that an ex PRR class X59A is a very close match for the Atlas 60' car. It has the same drawbacks as the BE60A, but again, I can live with it. I suggest looking at the Conrail Historical Society's web page for some shots of the three aforementioned classes of cars. I have decalled 2 BE60C's, 3 BE60A's, and 4 X59A's. I also have one more BE60A and X59A waiting their turn on my decal bench. I hope this helps.
