I thought about ordering some of these, but unfortunately for me the Rapido cars fall in the same boat as the MT Circus train cars.Having a single car (or a couple of them) does not make a train. I want a sleeper, a dining car, an observation car, some coaches, baggage; you know, a train. So I could buy some Rapido coaches. They will then sit on the shelf until I don't know when waiting for I don't know who to make the other cars I need. I don't need to tie up my money in shelf queens that may not get the rest of the set for 15 years.I would love to have complete passenger trains for a couple of different roads. Every one I've researched (and yes, it takes time to do that too) is missing one or more cars.Kato got this right. If you're going to do a passenger train, do the whole thing and put it in one box. If only they could learn there were trains east of the rockies.
That's why I'm hoping they do the Pullman Bradley Light Weights in N.
The odds of anybody making anything but a short list of well known passenger trains is slim to none.So the rest of us have to put our trains together cafeteria style. For me the Rapido leg coach is a reasonable stand-in for a N&W class PM coach. Mark
