New Bluford production samples

We just got in another batch of production samples and I've posted the pics at our site:

PC, UP, CP Rail, MP, C&NW and DT&I magenta auto parts boxes are in this new group. The DT&I car is a touch more violet than the photo shows, at least on my monitor.

Actually Craig, I remember the DT&I's more after they had faded and looked more pink than violet. Those cars weathered into some REALLY interesting colors.

Just received my "Southerns" from Chuck today. Once again, beautiful job on the paint and graphics.

Looks like I have to give Chuck a call for some of these new ones ;D

Not to be mean or anything... I realize this is a tough economy. BUT... are you guys planning on any new body styles? So far it has been a one horse parade, and it would be nice to see some new tooling. Might I humbly suggest a 19,000 corn syrup car.

Okay,

- No CSX on the schedule at the present time. I'm sure we'll get to them at some point.

- Never had plans to do dimi data's but I'm working on getting undec's into the schedule sooner rather than later.

- Two new body styles are in the engineering phase now with three more well into research phase. Not quite ready to announce yet but we're a lot closer...

Bluford has a hit on their hands with dozens of prototypical schemes available for them to do.  Makes sense to strike while the iron is hot before moving on to the next bodystyle.

True, but some of us aren't lining up to pay $25 for a car that's too big for our layouts...  Could it be that Bluford is creating a "collector" market to rival Micro Trains???

Or will we be seeing endless strings of auto parts cars at the next N trak set up?

Now that's funny! Therse cars do turn on a tight radius (11") and do a better job of it than 85' Passenger cars. But you're point is well taken. More people than usual have turned down these cars due to their size. There are lot more people with brader radius turns and almost all of the new N scalers are looking at wider radius turns.
Nobody in our shop has complained out loud about the price after seeing what the RC and MTL Autoracks have done, not too mention the new cab and right now things are pretty darn tough down here right now. As tough as I've seen them in 30 years in Atlanta.
