In my world RA never took over FEC, NS I can live with though.

No, not anymore, but there is a strong rumor that FEC will be bought by finally bought by NS from Rail America. The NS F7's were at Bowden last week with an inspection train and there was suppose to be an annoucement this week.

I would recommend that FEC fans take photos, in a timely fashion.

According to the Trains article in 2007, FEC had 11 on the roster.  What Phase did they run?  Are the Atlas versions good or do they need modification.

The Sarberenyi site gives phase information and notes that the FEC units did not have dynamic brakes.

Hi Dave,
After reviewing photos and information provided by Jan and Bob, the Atlas versions don't have the correct radiator grills.  The closest I've found are the Life-Like/Walthers GP38-2.  I have two enroute to me, one undec and one in MP colors that will be stripped and repainted in the FEC colors.  I'll post photos once I get the units completed.
