Control Panels

I want to start making some control panels for my staging yard. These will be mounted on the edge of the layout. Does anyone know of any magazine articles that could give me some ideas about making these?

The panels will have switches to throw the turnout and a button to turn off and turn on the power. I have the switches. Any suggestions on the track power on/off button to use?

Scroll down to the bottom of the image.  I used the simple MS Paint program to draw it up, printed it out on a laser, and had it laminated with a fairly heavy film.  It's similar to a heavy styrene sheet.  Then I poked what holes were necessary and added the switches.  It's mounted on a piece of 1x to give it stability, with holes drilled through the wood for the wires and the back of the switches.
