  It's a nice conversion job on a highly  available car. I would like the modernized version shown in the one GHQ photo with streamlined paired windows painted in the first post war green and black scheme. What I would really like though is a core kit for Budd streamlined cars so Brass Car Sides can do the NP 1956 NCL diner he was planning to do,a Budd semi Fluted side car ,but project was dropped when I pointed out there was no N core kit with a Budd fluted roof available. Nate Goodman (Nato). Ok! so use a Con Cor Budd dinerwith new sides.

I presume you're talking about the 1959 Budd slabside diners.  The sides are available from M&R Models, and probably better renditions than anything Brass Car Sides would come up with.  I've done two, the first on a Con Cor Budd roof and ends (One of the cars matches the roof vent pattern except for a single square vent, and the rest of the roof detail can be added) and the second on a pre-production Budd core kit that never materialized.

  Yes thats the car I was referring to. Someone really needs to make either a Budd Core kit in N or a Budd Fluted roof that can be used wit existing American LTD core kit. Nate Goodman (Nato).

   Probably with some work, but why ruin  a nice car. Better choice as mentioned the Con Cor Budd CZ style diner in Undec silver, with the sides removed,kitchen vents are already there also the radio antenna on the roof. As I posted above, we really need an N Scale Budd Core Kit, or just a Fluted roof that details can be added to. Nate Goodman (Nato).
