While way too new for my era I am very happy to see that someone else is entering the N-scale locomotive market.  I, too, hope it goes well for FVM!!!

What particular "let down" and "hype" are you talking about? As far as I'm concerned the whole N-Scale steam locomotive issue has been a "let down" to the point that I no longer really pay too much attention to it beyond reading those profound reviews which state something to the effect that "This locomotive should pull 20-25 free rolling cars on straight level track."WHOOPEE!!!!!

I've been known to "appreciate" the running qualities of IM Tunnel Motors and Atlas SD50/60's, and share the "fun" with others.

  I would go do far as to say that Mr. Kato spit up his rice when he saw the news. But like other people have said,, maybe now the modern guys will get something besides BNSF and the Borg.

  So lead on FVM,,show people how it is done.

I gotta tip my hat to FVM too. The GEVOs are too modern for me but I'm happy to see another manufacturer kicking more into the N mosh pit. Matt, maybe some 6 axle Baldwin road switchers for the next model?

Good luck to FVM, i love their Boxcars and wheels so i have high expectations for the GEVO's.

If they produce a GEVO with road specific details to the spec we have all been raving over my wallet is going to be threadbare.
