DELIVER at Portland ?
or announced at Portland ?

(edit) Good For Matt !    I had my money on Atlas  ::)

I hope that it does well for FVM.  While it is too new for me, I'm glad for those who will model with them.   ;D

Hey Chuck, I remember all of us having a conversation with Matt on the way to dinner during the Farmington/Hartford NSC a couple of years ago.  It does make sense.  He has the loco experience from his time at IM and puts out some great quality models.  I'm sure these will be high quality locomotives.  Very cool news!

I hope they do a good job with these...... I wonder if they are having a new mechanism designed or using another manufacturers design?  Sound Maybe? ;D

Preinstalled BLMA detail parts?  Each model tested by Skibbe?  What will be the discriminator?

Not preinstalled, and not quite BLMA, but you're on the right track.  What you won't have to do is carve off molded plastic grabirons before drilling holes and installing wire. From what I've heard anyway...

Should have worked out a deal with Craig!

Brand new mechanism designed for the loco.

It will also use a Digitrax DZ125IN (or equivalent) which will make installation a breeze.

All these new fangled things , and the list continually grows , is taking away from real railroad stuff during that real railroad time when prosperity appeared as abundant as the lovely pollutants we clamored for , and still do .

Craig's nice and all, but if I was FVM I'd cut out the middle man...  :D

Big risk.... lots of capital invested on a project of this nature - I truly wish Fox Valley a huge success and support for the hobby. Wonderful to see new investiment in nscale models !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!
