As an aside , carbon dioxide could be used to create special effects for photo shoots . A bucket with some water and the magic stuff could be under the layout . Cover the bucket with a vent , essential to not allow pressure build up , thus creating an explosion . Add to that cover tubes feeding a chimney , and or a venting derailed tank car . Now with those alternate lines in place which are also vents , one can adjust the main vent more closed to increase the amount of white magic smoke comes out of the rigged models . Again , ALWAYS have sufficient venting so explosive pressure cannot build up .

That's really cool. I guess in a real world application how well would the liquid stay cool enough long enough to operate w/o requiring a large power hungry supercooling system.

It was on the news a couple of times and on science shows in the last year . Cool stuff , very cool .

Bah!
Poor representation of a SP 0-0-0-0.  Switches not available from Atlas until at least 2012, DCC not coming soon and it doesen't even have magnetic couplers...

Couplers?  Why would you need those?  Use the same thing between cars!
