Goring back to the beginning of this decade when Atlas went "slow" - IIRC the motors can be differentiated by the color.
I cant remember off hand which is which ... ;D

I believe that loco did have the slow motor, They were made after mid 90's.

The first loco to have the "slow mo" was the GP38 (2001). Anything made before that has the "fast" motor.
