Back in August 2007, I ordered an IMRC IHB boxcar though FRTS. it was due in March of 2008. For the past several months, each month, IMRC wopuld show it due the following month, i.e. Dec. due Jan., Jan. due Feb., Feb. due March. Now, IMRC has again updated the website and the f**ker is now not due until April! > > >I will not punish Chulvis by cancelling the order, but it'll be a cold day in hades before I even considering ordering anything else from IMRC. After all, this isn't a new product, it's the same boxcar that started IMRC in N scale, just new single color printing. WTF??

Part of me thinks that the reason that model railroad manufacturers do this is to "pad their stats" a little with regards to dealing with their funding sources, aka the banker. I don't think they're pushing due dates just to spite their customers, and I doubt it's as haphazard as many on the forums make it out to be. (myself included) And it doesn't seem that communicating status about a model helps...people still bitch about it regardless.I've complained unmercifully about the DI spine cars and they've been in the works for 8 years now. But honestly there's probably a good reason for it...at least that's what I keep telling myself.
I'm still waiting for my WM F7B shell ...
