The best part of the day, though was after dinner when Bryan and Tim invited us to their concert at the Apollo...

"Fun Boy Four" were down with it, I tell you.  Their urban contemporary treatment of "Oklahoma!" was outstanding...

What did you think about Danica's article?

My only constructive criticism was when she was describing the process of building the tree's it was almost laundry list otherwise the content was great, very descriptive and liked the anecdotes about how you drive them all crazy and how it became a family affair was pretty nice.

I found it interesting to see how she,  a non-model RRer, described the process.   Interesting, I didn't think I was driving them crazy, just myself. I guess I take them down with me.

Funny thing was, when she offered to help, I told her she would have to solder the trees. He replied, "Dad, I know how to solder."   Years ago, I taught her how to solder for a math project where she had to graph an equation on a cartesian plane without using paper. She ended up soldering a 3D version using wire. It was a pretty cool sculpture. Looked a little like a radar antenna.

And 20 inch rims. And some adult models dancing in next to nothing getting champagne poured all over them.

You need to get to 'da hood' more often...only suburban kids roll with 20's. They push near 30 or more now...its beyond hotwheels.

Notice you never see vehicles with these insane rims in 'high speed' chase videos...they prob crash in the first 3 blocks.

But back on subject...I was hoping to see more photoshop work from this 'session'

I could have taken a picture of the layout showing a demonstration of how much beer bottles look like coniferous trees... There was quite a forest!  Of course, you'd have to blur your eyes a little.. unless you were there.. then you were probably a little blurry anyway...

I think Warren said it best: is was a party.  And that doesn't even count "PLAZA TAPATIA" (ka-ching) or the Apollo.

Yes, as calculated by the record execs, plus I read an article some years ago that records companies found that rap artists singed more 'first draft' contracts than other genres...serious motivation for them.


But back on subject.

Lee if you want to broadcast the next ops session I can hook up the stream, someone there just needs to provide camera/run an encoder.  (assuming you have enough bandwidth to get out the source stream)
